You Were Always Mine ARC Giveaway!

Hey, friends. This has not been the best week at the Baart house. Massive flooding in our area derailed an oil train (and caused ecological chaos), evacuated sections of several different towns, and trickled water into countless basements–including ours. Our week in numbers:

  • 4 Shop Vacs
  • 6 fans
  • 1 dehumidifier
  • 1 giant squeegee
  • lots of friends and family (also known as the world’s best helpers)
  • 1 swollen ankle (mine, the floors are incredibly slippery)
  • hundreds and hundreds of gallons of water hauled out of our basement
  • 2 delicious meals delivered by kind souls
  • 2 completely exhausted Baarts (Aaron and me)

The water has finally stopped leeching in (praise the Lord and hallelujah!), and thankfully it was just clean groundwater. All in all, we are blessed beyond measure as so many people had it so much worse than we did. Still, I need a little light in my life right now. I’m weary and sad…

But books make me happy! And I have some to give away. Want an ARC of You Were Always Mine? Good. I’d love to share one with you. Just use this handy-dandy Rafflecopter giveaway engine to earn some entries. Best of luck, friends! I can’t wait to share this book with you!

  • So sorry about the water in the basement. It makes for a stressful and frustrating week, for sure. We are ready for the water to stop seeping into our basement too! Praying for a relaxing weekend for you all!

  • I want to win a copy of You Were Always Mine because I love the way you write! Little Broken Things is one of my all-time favorite books 💙

  • Wow a rough time for you, glad you had friends to help you out. It is a blessing to see people helping others in time of need. I would love to win an ARC of “You Were Always Mine” because when I read it takes stressful situations of my mind. I lost my hubby 8/20/16 and my mom just on 4/9/18. Two of my big supporters and ones I could talk to when stressed. I have had over 28 surgeries, many health issues, bad back, and have very low immune system so have to have IVIG every month which is an IV put in my arm and a healthy donors plasma part of the blood *3 bottles* takes about 3-4 hours to finish all 3 just to protect myself from infections. So books help me through that too. Thank you for the chance.

  • I need to have all the books. 😀 Seriously, I think the premise is great and I look forward to seeing where you go with it.

I hope your house troubles are over. Love your positive take on the flooding.

  • Hello! I’m sorry about all your flooding issues’ but am glad it’s resolved. I would live to have a copy of “You Were Always Mine” because I can’t wait to read it and because I want to add it to my other books by you to my home library. I want to own all your books.

  • I want to read this book because it sounds like a great story and I am ready to read something that will make me feel a rollercoaster of emotions.

  • I’m looking forward to reading your newest book. I am also the mother of internationally adopted children, and sometimes I forget how that experience has affected or impacted their lives and mine.

  • Would really like to read “You Were Always Mine”. You are a new author to me and I like discovering new authors and books.

  • I’d like to win a copy of You Were Always Mine because I read the description and I’m curious how it will all play out. It has mystery, which I like. I can relate to being a single mom, which was hard (my kids are now adults) but thankfully I never had to go through anything like Jessica.

  • What a week it has been in Northwest Iowa! A new book (especially one of yours) would be great to add to my suitcase as we visit family 🇨🇦! I may have to pack Little Broken Things fo another read through instead! Blessing to you for less chaos in the rest of summer
